Privacy notice

This site is a few static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Here is the whole picture.

Who is responsible

The site albedo.click is run by the maker of Albedo, who is the data controller for anything described here. You can reach us at [email protected].

What this site collects

Nothing on purpose. There is no sign-up, no comment form, no newsletter and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Like every website, our hosting server keeps a short technical log of requests (the address of the page, the time, the browser's name, and your IP address) to keep the server running and to stop abuse. These logs are not used to profile you and are deleted automatically after 14 days.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks. Cloudflare sees the same technical data in passing. Its notice is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Your side of the page

The Day or Night look you choose is kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. It never leaves your device.

YouTube players

Videos on this site are shown as a still picture first. Only when you press play does your browser load a YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment YouTube (Google) may process your data under its own policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If you do not press play, nothing is sent to YouTube. The still picture is fetched from YouTube's image server, which sees your IP address as any image request would.

Links to other services

The buttons to YouTube and Instagram take you to those services. What happens there is covered by their notices, not this one.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message as long as it takes to answer it, and for up to a year afterwards in case you write again. We do not add you to any list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to a supervisory authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). Since the site holds nothing about you beyond the short server log, most requests will have a short answer, but we will always reply.

Changes

If this site ever starts doing more, for example a newsletter, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
