Albedo

About

Albedo is the share of light a surface gives back. The name fits a person who has a lit side and a dark side, and keeps you company on both.

Two hours of the day

By day she is Albedo: a graduate student in a white shirt and green trousers who likes books, the sea and quiet places. She reads short resets and focus sessions in a clear, even voice.

After dark she is Nightbedo, the same person a few hours later, in a shawl with moons on it. She speaks lower and slower, and her sessions help you put the day away and sleep.

What you will find

  • One-minute resets and ten-minute meditations, as Shorts and Reels.
  • Longer guided sessions for focus, rest and sleep. Sleep sessions never wake you.
  • Long music mixes: lo-fi, slow piano and quiet jazz.
  • A live room, later this autumn, that plays on for hours while you work or sleep.

How it is made

Albedo and Nightbedo each have their own voice. The scripts are written for them and checked before they are recorded. The art is drawn on-model from a fixed character sheet. The music is made for the channel, listened to track by track, and only the clean ones are kept.

Everything is reviewed by one person before it goes out. If a line does not sound right, it is recorded again.
